I just registered, but my profile is not showing online.

Your labfile needs to be validated by one of our labresearchers. This is just a precaution to control a bit what is happening. 99.9% of the labfiles are validated. You can start uploading ideas , concepts and work already, but those too will not yet be shown online.

All of your work needs to be validated too. Again, 99.9% of all work is validated. It helps us to see what is happening, and where appropriate, we will link your work to one or more of our research themes.

My work is linked to one or more projects. What's next?

Good question. We do not always know.
1. Or it is a project that has been active on the site in the past, maybe even a book published on the matter, but there is no 'next step' foreseen. In that case, someone browsing through that project can find yours. (If you do not want third parties to see your concept - please inform us!)
2. Or it is a project that we keep active, since we think it can be useful in the future. Here is why we are always looking for partnerships, sponsors etc, so that we can select among all the concepts, and create a book , exhibition, or more.
3. Or it is a project for a research theme that is really active, ending up in a book and exhibit and lectures.With your consent, and after receiving high res images, your project can make it into one of our inspiration books.
4. Or it is a project for a third party, where possible revenues can be made. We will look into it that there is no abuse. If we can create a bridge between you and some company, good, if not, so be it. For us, your concept stays your concept.We will not engage in commercial activities involving your art or concept without your consent.

What do I need to define in a briefing?
|
|
|
Are you looking for out of the box concepts (conceptual activities), and/or true craftsmanship and resources in executing concepts? (executional activities). Be aware that addictlab will always propose to you to be part of the implementation of ideas through your organisation , and not just the idea-generator. Addictlab does not want to be some idea generator on a cloud. We need and want ideas that can be implemented and can create true change in your organisation.

We do recommend sometimes to use the output and - part of - the results from a PR point of view, especially when the project at hand is linked to our Eco research and sustainability criteria. Addictlab can help in creating and dispatching press releases, white papers, books, …

About the output : what exactly do you deliver?
|
|
|
Basically we end up with a database of ideas, that have been filtered for your brand. We can deliver you the database as such, but most time we will rework the concepts in a powerpoint presentation, a book, or even a - private - exhibition.
