Senior Innovation Manager
Marketing & Merchandising
Overall lead of all product and packaging development cross channels: o Excellent quality, innovative and appealing products (core and seasonal) and packaging (core and seasonal) across the brand for the following business and Regions: ? Product and packaging for Europe domestic , World wide Duty free. ? Product for HK/Japan/NA when developed from Brussels facility o Timing/respect of gates Lead International input on Global mega trends and translate them into relevance/presentation Organizer of NPD team and elevate issues to M&M director to be resolved in NPD council for the EMEA and ITR business Key contact with Global on Gifting platform In this position, you report directly to the Director of Marketing & Merchandising
o Work in close relationship with the business units to establish the Product strategy for next fiscal year and + 3 year plan for each business and region .This includes volume and share forecasts, cannibalism, key initiatives and pricing and cost assumptions. o To manage the resources involved in developing new lines, line extensions, product improvements. This includes developing project objectives: parameters/hurdles ; developing and managing the test plot, getting the product formulated, costed to meet profit targets, consumer tested, commercialized ,started up and overall timetable management. o Lead the innovation research process to generate innovation together with M.M of business units concerned, monitor the range, obtain actionable consumer insights addressing a business problem and/or opportunity. This includes developing a research brief that delineates the business issue and working with the Consumer Insight agency to design a test and methodology that will best answer the issue at large and implement recommendations. o Innovation in the matter is key : a clear understanding on what’s going on in the market from the competition but also new technology is key. o To manage the resources required for an entire packaging project from Communications guidelines development, through mechanical ,photography, art release and into finished material at the plant, including budget and timetable management; o Drive and lead the expertise and the productivity of the NPD team in order to achieve the goals . Implement the gate system in line with our go to market calendar. o Lead the Japanese, HK product developments based on Japan’s and HK's requirements (consumer and market knowledge – range analysis) o Communicate on time the necessary information to the BU Marketing Manager in Europe and to the marketing departments in Japan and Hong Kong. o Channels and External customers-leverage an understanding thanks to close relationship with the channel experts of different channels and customers to maximize business results. Leverage knowledge of consumer and \"shopper\"behavior and the drivers behind why consumers choose to shop at a particular channel or retail customer. o Being the key European Representative in the Global forum of product development mainly for the gifting platform. o Working closely with the Business analyst of each business unit to make the post launch analysis of the product launched. o Lead the innovation team with strong leadership skills.
- 4 years degree, preferably in Economic/Marketing study, or similar experience - 5 years of experience in leading innovation project - International experience - Feeling with premium businesses - Has demonstrated implementation of breaking through innovation on the market place - Fluent in English and French or Dutch - Strong focus of NPD but also marketing knowledge is a +++ - Strong analytical skills - Strong organizational / planning skills - Excellent balance of strategic and operational thinking/action orientation - Understanding of international business dynamics and feeling with other cultures - Outstanding interpersonal skills - Excellent communication both internally and externally - Leadership skills (the candidate will manage a team of minimum 3 people + will lead a full cross functional team. Addictlab is looking for a dedicated student that can be the internal project manager for the Luxury Lab project.
The Lab will be active online, and have real life events, such as at the Lift Conference in Geneva.
The LuxuryLab Labbie will manage the online project, centralise incoming ideas and filter with the Lab researchers.
