We are a fan of Dark. (check www.dark.be for awesome creations) . And on a number of occasions we have collaborated with them to shed their lights on our events. One of their products, the No Fruit looks awesome, and with its huge shape it certainly makes an impression.

Yet, when installing it for a client, however, that impression faded away... We were using rented ones that clearly were used before.

The damaged plastic wasn't too bad, since the lights were quite high. But the dust inside! No way you could get it out of there, and for a piece of contemporary design a complete showstopper. You'd expect looking up at the moon, and the illuminated dust inside turned the Moon into a garbage belt.

Hurray, thus, for the information we just got in: there is now a dust protection net. A good designer knows when to stop changing its product. A better designer knows when to add changes.
