A bottom up system to discover & accelerate local creative talent, to help where possible.

Addictlab.com is installing its labfunction in Soweto. Addictlab Soweto, or short Sowetolab.com, wants to discover and accelerate creative talent, generate ideas for businesses , and create sustainable changes for the Soweto brand and society.

JanVan Mol, founder Addictlab.com : 'I believe Addictlab should be a bottom up system: proving that creative talent is everywhere, trying to accelerate that talent where possible, and creating a positive change in the lives of people involved, while offering innovation to thirdparties. If ever I thought Addictlab could implement sustainable changes to people in certain cultures and surroundings, Addictlab Soweto might very well be it.'

Sowetolab.com is looking for funds in our mission to discover and accelerate local talent.

In 2010, we want to
- set up an exhibition for Kasi Custom Rides, and allow them to build a lifesize cardboard car.
- set up an exhibition & contacts with the art world for Solomon, in order to sell his radios as art pieces.- publish regularly on diverse websites
- develop plans to discover and promote more local creative talent
- set up collaborations with magazines worldwide, to tell the stories of this local talent.

- contact brands in order to set up collaboration (regarding sustainable promotions linked to World Cup 2010)
- hire a local person for the project management of the sowetolab.com
In order to pay for all this, we are looking for partners & funds, up. Yearly cost will be about 25000 dollar.
