#DidYouKnow that the@FCCstudy is developing designs for a post-Large Hadron Collider particle accelerator?

Architects #MatiasdelCampo and #SandraManninger, artists in residency at CERN in 2016, researched with Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning's students the typology and morphology of a future visitors centre at the FCC.

In 2018, they received the prestigious ARCHITECT magazine Studio Prize which celebrates the most innovative academic studios in North America, offering examples of the ways students may approach design problems in their future careers.

Possible cover / new study with the presence of the main SDG on the cover. If we go for this concept, all covers of the magazine (not the school editions) will have to have same format. New concept and content might even push us to make this the real first issue and number 1.

Possible Cover for SDGzine 02. This is a collaboration with the Red Cross Museum that started to create posters for kids to colour based on their last poster exhibition. A very strong message if you ask me. We could put both orignal poster in the magazine and allow kids to cut out and draw their poster.

Make Just Right is a design consultancy that specializes in helping products and services to be more inclusive. Our team of consultants are all young designers (ages 13-19) with physical disabilities. They have a heck of a perspective on living in a world that wasn’t built for them, and what we can all do to make it just right.

Designer Creates Guessing Game About Incredible Women Who Have Changed the World - Each character comes with her own biography card, full of fun and interesting anecdotes about her life. “WHO’S SHE? features women who had the courage to be different and take risks. Their triumphs, adventures, discoveries and inventions will inspire you to dream bigger and take risks,” explains Playeress founder Zuzia Kozerska. “In the game we put female profession names wherever possible, to show that girls can do anything. Inventress, discoveress, empress, paintress!” You can support the WHO’S SHE? project (and get your own copy of the board game) on Kickstarter. https://mymodernmet.com/whos-she-guessing-game-playeress/?fbclid=IwAR2tNjUu52pG2PaNeDo4Y8C0_PngWydqwr3DJyr_0IY-euBwbo7qJW9Froc
